Joseph F. Mattingly

Joe worked for Globe Union/Johnson Controls, as a mechanic, for 28 years. He is a member of Willis Stewart Masonic Lodge #224, Fairdale Order of Eastern Star #153, and Valley of Louisville Scottish Rite.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye B Mattingly, parents, and three brothers: James T. Mattingly, John M. Mattingly, and Jerald “Jerry” M. Mattingly.

He is survived by three children: Steve Mattingly (Sherry), Greg Mattingly, and Tammy Mattingly, four grandchildren: Vanessa Zebich (Bobby), Jacob Mattingly (Kara), Chandler Huckeby, and Hannah Huckeby, four great grandchildren: Zachary Stout, Elijah Mattingly, Kailyn Mattingly, and Aleah Scamihorn, and one sister, Lydia Jean Allgood.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

Visitation will be from 2 PM until 7 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Scottish Rite Learning Foundation (200 East Gray Street Louisville, Kentucky 40202).
