Joseph William "Joe" DeWitt Jr., 63, of Louisville, passed away November 23, 2017. He was born February 20, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph William DeWitt Sr. and Louise Perkins DeWitt. He was a former shipping clerk for NTH Works. Joe was an Army veteran and an avid UofL fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joyce McGaha; and his beloved Dachshunds, Sydney and Penny. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maxine Pace DeWitt; daughter, Tina Clark(Tony); stepdaughters, Bethany Downs and Tammy Baker(Harry); grandchildren, Steven Wicker, Justin Rose, Bailey Clark, Holley Crask, Harry Baker, and Ollie Baker; his sisters, Carolyn Stortz and Mary Bunch; and several nieces and nephews. The family has chosen cremation and the arrangements are under the care of Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
