Mr. Clark was a retired member of Local U.A.W. #862 Ford Motor Company after having served over 30 years of loyal dedicated service.
He was an active Christian and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church since 1990 where he also served as a deacon.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty (Blanton) Clark. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Kay Blanton; children, Betty Hawkins (Eric) and Gary Clark (Jennifer); siblings, Barbara Heuke (Mark), Paulette Craven (David), James "Frankie" (Kay), Adrian (Debbie), Tommy (Annie) and Kenny Clark; grandchildren, Catrina, Victoria, Marissa, Connor, Sean and Lil Gary.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held noon Wednesday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
The family would like to request that memorial donations in Joe's name be directed to Bethlehem Baptist Church Bus Ministries or Wings Like Eagles
