Hello Joe's family.  I knew Joe at Humana where I work; Angela is my Supervisor.  And you know, I didn't really know Joe that well, or for that long, but maybe that doesn't matter.  Because it's only now that I don't see him at all that I realize I used to see him all the time, and he always smiled, and said "Hi, Pat."  He knew my name even though he knew so many other people at Humana, and he never failed to say Hi, to me, who was no one to most people there.  I mean, I was just someone he didn't know very well, and hadn't known very long.  I think that, in itself, his consideration for others, is what made him so special, and amazingly, what makes me miss him so much.  So, now it's my turn to say something to Joe, like he always did for me. Bye Joe.  Thanks for always being friendly.  And for just being you.  You are not forgotten.

I knew Joe for almost 20 years. He was a great guy that everyone loved to be around. He will be missed greatly by his Humana family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Braden family. Joe may your rest in peace!

Praying for the entire family of Joe Braden.  I had the honor or meeting many of you today and what a great family you each have.  Joe was always a positive person day in and day out at Humana.  His drive and dedication were something to be admired and he worked hard.  It was always very apparent that he deeply loved his children and they were always on his mind.  I still cannot believe he is gone.  I still expect him to come by and say "Good Morning Ms. Angela" or "Hi Ms. Angela".  We will never forget you Joe Braden.  You are one in a million and your children were blessed to have you as their daddy.  God Bless your family and may you rest in Peace with our God Almighty...

My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Joe's family.  When I first came to Humana almost 16 years ago, I was on the same team with him in Billing and Enrollment.  He was so nice and we had a great time cutting up and laughing together.  I cannot believe he is gone at such a young age.  I will always remember you and will miss seeing you around the building.  You will truly be missed.

Joe was my first boss out of college. He was an awesome person to work with and a great friend.  His smile could truly brighten anyone's day. Joe always made me smile or laugh, even when I was nervous. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My prayers and thoughts are with MacKenzie, Richard, MJ and all who loved him.  Joe was such a special, kind and caring soul.  I will always remember our long talks about the kids and how much he loved them. He was the kindness, most gentle soul I have ever met and my days at Humana will forever have a void without my dear friend. I am so thankful that I was blessed to have the opportunity to know and love him and will miss laughing at and with him. He always greated everyone with a smile, kind words and encouragement.  The world lost a special soul and the best and most devoted father I've ever known.

Humana is a LOT lighter today because of the loss of Joe Braden. He was a heavyweight. We lost a good one here. He was just a kid when he was first hired. And we watched him become a role model for many of his co-workers. I never dreamed after seeing him during a visit to our department on Tuesday, that he'd be gone so soon. I'll never forget his robin-egg blue Corvette.

I worked with Joe and his team several years ago, when I was worked in the Training & Documentation dept at Humana.  Joe was one of the nicest guys and always treated people with respect.  Even though we didn't work together anymore, I would see him often in the elevators and he would always say hello and ask how I was doing.  I just saw him the other day and he looked great.  This is so hard to believe, he is truly going to be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go to his family and his work family, I know they thought the world of him.

Although I did not know Jody personally, I know his brother John and wife Teri. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless you and your family.

I work as an in-store at the Papa John's Joe delivered for. He always made work a funner place, he was my favorite driver. I will miss him and work won't be the same without him there. May he rest in peace & may God bless you all.

I knew Joe when we called him Jody.  When I ran him into him at work and I called him Jody, he smiled and corrected me quickly.  Your family has suffered so much loss.  I pray that you can find some peace in knowing that he is in Heaven with Christ along with his mom and Richard.   My prayers are with all his family.

To the family of Jody- I was a friend of Richard's many years ago- I grew up across the street, I was informed yesterday of Jody's passing. I am so sorry for your loss.  One of my childhood memories was Jody getting "lost" in the neighborhood when he was little kid... Marie was so upset she was screaming for him and running everywhere looking for him - he finally made it home and after she gave him a few "swats" in a neighbors yard .. she held him and hugged him as tight as she could.  I will never forget that moment. He is now with your other angels..Richard and Marie.

I still can not believe this has happened.  I have worked with Joe for 19 yrs either on the same team, on projects, he was even my supervisor at one time.  I think very highly of him and it brakes my heart that this has happened. He was just bugging with me last Friday about what he called a rebel shirt I had on then he just laughed.  I will mess him.

Although you are no longer with us in body, you're love & kindness will always be with us. We will continue to see your smile in our hearts & in our memories. We take strength in knowing that one day we will be together again & that will be a joyous day. Our hearts are filled with sadness but also full of love. Until we meet again...

Saw Joe and his 3 sons at all the fun parties thrown by Tony and Leslie Ryan (Derby especially) and bumped into Joe often where we work at Humana. He was such a sweet person and I am praying for his family.

I didn't know Joe very well but what I did know was that he was one of the most positive, happy people that I've ever met.  He always had a smile and a nice word for everyone and he will be greatly missed.

Still unbelievably shocked. My heart and prayers go out to Joe's family. He was a wonderful man and an absolute joy to be around. God Bless
