John graduated from Ahrens High school in 1972. He worked for National Tobacco as a maintenance supervisor for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille Vandivier and a sister, Elaine Vandivier.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Janet; a son, Jason (Sheila) Vandivier; granddaughter, Jordan (Charlie) Vandivier; great grandson Kaedyn; sister, Ruth (Steve) Hatler and a brother Charles Vandivier, also many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at the Arch L Heady and Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard, Monday, January 13, 2025 at 12:30 pm with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9:30am until time of service.
