Stovall, John George "Big John", 76, of Louisville passed on June 24, 2014.
He was a retired Cement Mason. Hunting and fishing were his favorite past times. He dearly loved his three granddaughters and was a Papaw to many. Big John was a wonderful and compassionate caregiver and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Stovall in 2010.
Left to cherish his memory are his two children, John Michael Stovall (Christine) and Bobbie Chitwood (Kevin); two brothers, Sam Stovall (Barbara) and Jack Stovall (Ann); sister, Ruby Douglas (Morris); three granddaughters, Scarlet, Francesca and Josie and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-8pm on Friday.
