He was born to the late Mary Dale and John J. Maloney, Sr. His wife of 54 years, Barbara Jane Weiber Maloney, his brother, William Maloney and sister, Mary Patricia Wagner also preceded him in passing.
John was once a volunteer firefighter and joined the Army National Guard. He enjoyed a relaxing day watching Louisville Cardinals play basketball.
Here to cherish his memory are his children: David Maloney (Lisa) and Tammy Maloney, brothers; Tommy Maloney (Fran) and Stephen Maloney (Jeneda), sister, Anita Burden (Mark), sister-in-law, Denise Maloney and extended family and friends.
Visitation will occur on Friday, July 8th from 11:00AM - 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow, beginning at 2:00 PM. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville KY 40218.
Mr. Maloney will be laid to rest within Resthaven Memorial Park.
