Jean Fay (Rush) Mabrey, 83, passed away peacefully Monday, December 7, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born December 2, 1933 in Louisville to the late Fred and Dorothy Rush. Jean was a 1951 graduate of Shawnee High School. Her career included jobs with BellSouth, City of Hurstbourne, and The Gentle Woman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Donna Drake.
Left to cherish the memory of his “Beautiful Bride” is loving husband of 62 years, Paul Mabrey; children, Greg Mabrey (Debbie) and Paula Vessels (Chris); grandchildren: Gregory, Alex (Danielle), Emily, Andrew and Matthew.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2 pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road. Friends are invited to gather from 1-2 prior to service on Sunday. Please visit us at www.archlheadyresthaven.com
