Jane Lynn Chesnut Russell

Jane Lynn Chesnut Russell, 70, peacefully passed away in her sleep to return to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 13, 2024. Jane loved to read, doing DIY projects, and crocheting. She enjoyed watching TV – everything from Reality TV to White Christmas. Jane loved all animals and every animal in her life will always be special. Her laugh was infectious and she loved someone that would make her laugh. Jane is very loved and will be sorely missed!

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Chesnut; daughter, Brianne “Bri” Russell; grandson, Trent Purtlebaugh; and brothers, Ron and Randy Chesnut.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Steve; children, Rebecca Brennan (Robert “Bob”), Jennifer “Jeni” Johnson, Adam Russell (Courtney), Leah Sippel (Matthew “Matt”); grandchildren, Ashley Smith (John), Sierra Maxson, Chaz Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Draden Johnson, Paige Wright, Austin Purtlebaugh, Reonna Purtlebaugh, Emma Russell, Olivia Russell; great-grandchildren, Faith Kisner-Maxson, Isaiah Smith; siblings, Roberta Barnes, Alan Chesnut; many extended family members and loving friends.

The family has chosen cremation and will plan a celebration in the future. We will update this website once the celebration has been planned.
