He was born to the late Viola and Everett B. Williams. His sister, Lois and wife, Margaret Williams also preceded him in passing.
James and his late wife were previous owners of Country Pantry. He worked many years hobby farming and retired from General Electric. Although James enjoyed farming, his family was his pride and joy.
Here to carry on his memory are his children; Stephanie King (Johnny) and Jessica Williams, grandchildren; Dylan, Derrick (Mackenzie), Davis, and Julia, siblings; Marvin (Virginia), JoAnn (Fred), Brenda, Kay (Gary) and Bobby.
A celebration of James’s life will begin at 4:00pm, following visitation from 12:00pm- 4:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
