Wheat, James H. “Jim” 76, passed away September 24, 2016. Jim was a member of UAW 862 and past Master of McNeil Lodge 586, where he just celebrated 50 years. He was pre¬ceded in death by his parents Albert and Dillrie Wheat, broth¬er Jesse Wheat and daughter Sherri Nalley. Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years Laura “Betty” Wheat, children James H. Wheat Jr. (Brenda), Melynda M. Metcalfe (Wayne), Joseph N. Wheat (Shelley) and Jailen Nalley, grandchil¬dren Shaila Fox, Mark Nalley, Alisha Wheat, Allison Shaffer, Alex Metcalfe, Nathan Wheat and Zachary Wheat and son-in-law Tim Nalley. He is also survived by his siblings Lora Price, Barbara Eskins and Nathan Wheat. A service to honor the life of Jim will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm and will resume Wednesday at 10am until the start of the funeral.
