Ivan "Bruce" Morris, 92, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Bruce served our country as a MP in the US Army. For years he volunteered at Camp Bluebird. He was instrumental in the forming and growth of Boone Box Company, was an avid camper, and a true family man.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Susan Grace and John F. Morris; his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; brothers, Ralph, Hugh, Paul, and Boyd Morris.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Deborah Morris, Gary Morris (Patty), Sharon Moore (Butch), Todd Morris (Jill Gutermuth); 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; longtime companion, Henrietta "Henny" Middleton; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation for Bruce will be Monday, September 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Bruce's honor should be directed to The Alzheimer's Association.
