Helena was a Registered Nurse for 40+ years and was known to be a hard worker, she loved her job and had a passion for helping others. Her coworkers referred to her as the "humming nurse" because she would hum doing everything. She lived off of coffee and cigarettes most days, and deeply loved her beloved chihuahua mixed babies. She had also won countless awards during her time in her nursing career.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 24 years, Clay Chatfield; children, Thomas Holesinger, Edward Holesinger, Steven Tackett, Robert Tackett, Selena Adams, Skrub Steven Tackett; sister, Gigi Simpson; and an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
There will be a private family moment with a Gathering to follow at 2pm on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Advantage Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
