Helen Marie Jones

Helen Marie (Hulsman) Jones returned to her heavenly father on Friday, December 9 surrounded by her family. She was born September 8, 1931 in Louisville Ky to Frank H. and Mary Adeline Hulsman. Helen attended St. Elizabeth Grade School and Ursuline Academy, graduating in 1949. On April 25, 1953, she married William (Bill/Tank) Jones. In later years, she worked in St. Athanasius School cafeteria and after school program. Helen was very active in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends of the family. Nothing pleased her more than being surrounded by children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 39 years, a brother Frank A. Hulsman, and a sister Teresa Anderson.

She is survived by her children Billy (Cathy), Sandy (John), Bobby (Carolyn), Jimmy (Julie), Matt, Nancy (Lynn), Patti, Jon (Linda), 9 grandchildren Nicole Ferreri, Travis Brown, Chris Jones, Katerina Jones, Henry Jones, Jacob Vowels, Jayla Vowels, Kristine Pike, and Jennifer Tooley, great-grandchildren Hugo, Ileana, Hope, Beau, Taylor, and Declan, a brother Ed Hulsman, and a sister Mary Allgeier.

Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2022 from 3pm until 7pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home - Okolona and Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10am until 12pm at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at noon in church. Burial will be private at Resthaven Memorial Park.
