Gloria “Sue” Dodson, 80, born September 10, 1940 in Catlettsburg KY, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was a devoted Christian who was adored by family and friends.
Sue was a former production worker for GE and a member of Grace Church.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold Dodson; a sister, Belva Horsely; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Billie Jean Blazak; her parents, John Fannin and Olive Cyrus Fannin; and her siblings, Robert Fannin, Joseph Fannin, Opal Donagher, and Feba Oberle.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of the service Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
