Gilbert Gibbs, 86, of South Louisville was born on February 21, 1930 to the late William and Lulie Gibbs, passed from this life on October 29, 2016. Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Patricia Kiper (Jerry) and a son, Gilbert Gibbs, Jr. (Theresa); 5-grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Gibbs will be held at 11 am Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
