Geraldine Purvis

Born on Thursday, October 26, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky Geraldine was the daughter of the late’s Homer Lee Dupin and Delila Jane Hardin. She enjoyed bird watching and all animals! She fed them, especially her ferrets and squirrels. Geraldine was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt! Her big family meant everything to her!

Besides her parents, Homer Lee & Delila Jane Dupin; her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Purvis; daughter, Cindy Mae McCue; great grandson, Owen McCue; great granddaughter, , Jessica Michelle Clark; Baby 1 and Baby 2; sister, Evelyn Richardson; brother, Duke Dupin; and sister, Norma Jean Clark, precede Geraldine in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kathy (Robert) Hoke, Tamila (Ricky) Davis, Robbie (Jackie) Purvis; several grandchildren; many great – grandchildren; sister, Gloria Mae Poland; several nieces and nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel. Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Hour of 5:00 p.m. and will resume after the Memorial Service until 8:00 p.m.
