Gary Wallace Roberts

Gary Roberts 67, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. Gary Roberts was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Wallace and Pauline Roberts. Gary graduated from Emmaus high school and later on attended Penn State and Bellarmine University. He married his wife Cindy Roberts in January of 1986.

Gary was an extremely caring, devoted and loving father. He was the rock and glue to his family. He would do anything for anybody and had always thought of putting everyone else’s needs before his. He was the most selfless human being. He did so much with his children: Chelsey and Abbie Roberts. Some of the adventures that Gary enjoyed taking his daughters to were fishing, swimming, amusement parks, vacations, graduations, horseback riding and bowling. He was an extremely devoted Christian. He absolutely loved our lord and savior Jesus Christ. He was a diligently hard working man. Throughout most of his life he worked 3 to 4 jobs just so that his wife Cindy, his two daughters and granddaughter Kylie were taken care of. That’s all that was important to him. That’s all that mattered to him. He also was a devoted loving husband and grandfather (poppy) to his wife Cindy and daughter Kylie. He loved all of his family members unconditionally and there aren’t enough words to express how much he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his spouse: Cindy Roberts, and two children: Chelsey Roberts of Louisville, KY, and Abbie Roberts of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 1 grandchild: Kylie Humphrey.
