Gary was an Air Force veteran and a member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was an avid fisherman.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Braden; mother, Bessie Braden; and brother, Don Braden.
Gary is survived by his sons, Jeff Braden (Kim), Darrell Braden (Aundrea), and Kevin Braden (Sarah); grandchildren, Chad Clark and Cody, Amanda and Grace Braden; one great-granddaughter, Ava Braden; sister-in-law, Betty Braden; and 3 nieces and their spouses and children.
A funeral service to honor the life of Gary will be held at 2pm, October 31, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9pm on Wednesday and from 11am-2pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly expresses that memorial donations to be directed the Shawnee Masonic Lodge or Cancer Research of Louisville.
