Evelyn was a Methodist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John E. Weir, Sr.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Ted. A. Weir (Sherry) of Louisville; granddaughters, Katie Weir of Lexington, KY, Shanna Weir of Gig Harbor, WA, and Laura Weir of Glen Allen, VA; brother, Joseph Lamb of Vinton, VA; and sister, Jane Dockery of Mayfield, KY.
Funeral service will be noon Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be 10 a.m.-noon Friday.
