Eula Kennedy

Eula Kennedy, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. Eula was born on March 24, 1931 in Coral Ridge, Kentucky to the late William Henry Sidebottom and Ruby Edelen Sidebottom. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Robert Kennedy; daughter, Patti Kennedy; and her two sons, Ricky Kennedy and Rob Kennedy.

Eula was a life-long member of Highland Park Christian Church. Eula enjoyed playing dice, cards, crafting, making candy and listening to music; but most of all she loved spending time with her dear family and friends. She was a kind loving soul who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Eula was a wonderfully kind and loving wife, momma, GG and best friend, she will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of loving her.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Cheryl Reesor (John), Janet McDonald (Bill), Karen Bell (Jim); grandchildren, Prissy Crow (Michael), Shannon Rasche (Ben), Kim Morgan (Justin), Bob McDonald (Laura), Dan Bell and Dave Bell (Kathy); as well as many loving great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Eula will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.; and Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, with a service to honor the life of Eula to follow at 12 noon Friday at the funeral home. Eula will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
