He was a Vietnam veteran who retired from Corhart. Ernest was a kind loving man who would help anyone in need especially his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid camper. He and his wife Mary visited all 50 states during their travels. He enjoyed watching wildlife and being in nature.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Mary, two children Andrea Robison and Ernest Allen IV (Missy), three brothers; Michael Allen (Ada), Danny Allen, and Robert Allen. Five grandchildren; John (Ashley), Lindsay, Jacob, Callie, and Tristan, two great-grandchildren; Ethan and Zoey.
Ernest chose cremation. His celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM, at Farnsley Mormon Landing 7410 Mormon Road, Louisville, KY 40272.
