Emma Lea Page, 91, formerly of Louisville, KY died Wednesday at Silver Oaks Health Center in Columbus, Indiana surrounded by loved ones singing Amazing Grace, as she took her last breath. Emma had retired from The American Printing House for the Blind. She was a member of the Lyndon Christian Church.
Emma married Robert L. Page on April 7,1967 in Clark County, Indiana who proceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, as well as two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her children Betty Cissell (Bill), Jo Ann Freeman (Bryan), Kenneth Strange (Diana), Joyce Smith (David) and Cathy Moseley (Victor) and a sister Inez Smith.
She is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday October 20, 2014 in the chapel at Arch L. Heady Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8 pm.
Memorial contributions can be given to Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch, Hospice or Lyndon Christian Church.
