She was a native of Budapest, Hungary and immigrated to America in 1956. Elvira retired from Bacons Department Store. She was a member of the Hungarian American Club and a member of The German American Club.
Elvira is survived by her sons, Steven R. Csabai and wife Kimberly, Andrew T. Csabai and wife Kate. Grandchildren, Connor, Grace, Megan, and Andrew. She is also survived by her brother Zolton Bondor and family, who still live in Hungary.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023 and Sunday, July 30 from 12-2PM with a celebration of Elvira’s life to follow, beginning at 2:00PM. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218. She will be laid to rest within Resthaven Memorial Park.
