Earl L. Hale, 94, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 22, 2013 at Norton Hosparus Pavilion with his wife by his side. He was a retired US Postal worker where he had worked as a data supervisor for 43 years. His passion was dancing, as he was a member of several square dance clubs, and loved dancing at many of the dance clubs around town, including the Moose Club #5 and the VFW's. He also played the guitar and sang. He was a member of the Masonic Plumb Lodge #862, F. & A. M., a 32 degree Mason, the Araba Shrine Temple in Florida, the Kosair Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite, and also a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lousie Bohn Hale; sons, Steve (Barbara), Stuart (Vicki), Sheldon (Ritchie), and Scott (Dennie) Hale; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 and Thursday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
