Earl W. Goldsmith, 89, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
He was a retired employee of Johnson Controls, a Navy veteran of WWII, and a member of the VFW and FOP.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Goldsmith.
He is survived by his children, Diana Moore, Billy Goldsmith (Julie), Jerry Goldsmith (Cathy), and Tony Goldsmith (Ellen); 9 grandchildren,17 great-grandchildren, and his children's mother and best friend, Geneva Lees.
His funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Sunday.
