Dwight loved his dad and he showed that with how much he respected him in front of his fellow players.   And as a fellow baseball player with Dwight, his respect for his dad had an impact on the respect I had for my dad.  Coach Wrigley and Dwight will be forever etched in my memory as a great father and son relationship that I hope all fathers and sons can enjoy.

I am a neighbor of Marcia's and she would always come out on the porch to talk to me when I walked by with my dog.  When Dwight moved in he took Marcia's place to greet me as I walked down the street.  He always had a smile on his face and a friendly hello.  It's not the same walking past the house.  RIP sweet Dwight.  Thank you for brightening my day!

So many great memories of Dwight and the Wrigley family.  RIP my friend 

I was deeply saddened by the news of Dwight's passing. Wrigley was like a brother. And he was so much fun! We had lots of laughs on our daily drives to school, at homecoming dances, and when we just hung out at each other's houses. RIP Dwight. Love you!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dwight's recent passing.    While I know that words are only a small gesture of support, I want his family to know that his kind spirit has touched many people's lives as it has mine.   He was like a brother to my sister and myself and we  spent many times together in our youth getting in and out of trouble, but boy did we have fun!  His infectious laugh and devilish smile always kept us laughing.  He will be truly missed. 

Just remember those who bloom in the hearts of others never fade away... may you find comfort and strength In your memories.

My heart breaks at the thought of this world without Dwight and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dwight was a great friend who became more like a brother to my sister and I and was always a fixture at our house.  We made great memories together like our Halloween party where Dwight struggled to come up with a costume and showed up in a torn brown towel as Tarzan.  Never failed to make us laugh. Dwight played and loved hard and  was a devoted friend. His infectious laugh and smile will live on in my mind forever , I will cherish our time together always.   Rest In Peace my friend. Love Kim

So sorry to hear about Dwight. I have been using my walker around the neighborhood for two months and always stopped to chat with him. We were beginning to form a friendship. He always offered me extra water and his Mom offered a seat on the front porch if I became tired. My prayers for him and to all his family. Thanks for your kindness Dwight.

Although I never had the privilege of knowing Dwight,I knew and admired his parents lo these many years ago in Woodland Hills,and wish to send Marcia in particular my deepest condolences.

I have very fond memories of  the days when my boys Ronnie & John Cooper played baseball for Mr. Wrigley, Dwight & Ronnie were on the same team ,they had the same numbers . what a great bunch of kids they were. I am so sorry for your lost   You  are in my thought & prayers.

There are no words to express my deepest feelings for the loss of Dwight. I have many, many memories over the years that I will always hold in my heart. To Marcia, you are in my prayers & will always remain in my heart. With Love Bootsie.

I’m blessed to have known Dwight most of our lives, beginning with us on the same T-ball team many years ago.  Mr Wrigley was our coach.  Dwight was a super all-around athlete whose on-field/Court confidence was unparalleled. He was truly one of the greatest sports trash talkers of all time and I say that with extreme fondness and a huge grin.  We remained close buddies for a good 50 years and I’m fortunate in that regard.  He had a laugh that he always brought with him.  When he got really tickled, it became a shrill giggle.  I can hear it now and I’ll never forget it or him.  As other close buds and I have mused over Dwight memories, the common theme is whenever you were around Dwight Wrigley, you were laughing.  I can think of no better legacy.  Stay tight with your old friends.  You never know when they’ll leave us. I miss Dwight very much.
