Doris Thomas

She was born on 12/03/1946, to Lucian and Maudie (Crain) McClure in Louisville, Ky.

Doris was a graduate of Manual High School.

She married Richard Thomas and they had 3 children, Richard, Theresa, and Sherry.

She was a proud member and retiree of the Teamsters Union, having worked at Paramount Foods, Algood Foods and Brown-Foreman among others.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed her books till the end.

Doris is survived by her sister, Brenda Ballard, her son, Richard Thomas, her grandchildren, Robert and Raymond Druin, Richard and Steven Thomas, and Christina (Brown) Spence and 13 wonderful great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lucian and Maudie McClure, her husband Richard Thomas, her daughters Theresa Druin and Sherry Brown, and granddaughter Ashley Brown.

Visitation will be at Evergreen Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11am-2pm. The funeral service will be held at 2pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
