Born to the late Roscoe and Gladys Ritter, Donald is also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Shirley Ritter; his daughters Karen Ritter and Donna Lococo; and his brother Robert Joseph Ritter.
Here to carry on his memory is his son, Robert Ritter (Hope Havener-Ritter); his grandchildren Erin Priddy (Matt), Courtney Jones (Randy), Valerie Lacoco, and Kelly Keemer (Simon); and six great-grandchildren.
Donald was a proud U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He retired after many years as a salesman for Kingsbury/Atlas Concrete Company. Donald was an avid fisherman and golfer.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville KY 40218. A funeral service in Donald’s honor will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Marty’s Orchid House.
