David Whitmer,50 of Louisville passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015.
He was a hard worker, a great chef who enjoyed cooking for his family and a funny man who was loved by all.David is preceded in death by his daughter, Karley Nicole Whitmer.He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Wayne Whitmer, parents, Jean and Wayne Whitmer, a brother, Gary Whitmer (Shelli) and a sister, Jennifer McConnell (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate David's life will be conducted at 6:30pm on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from noon-6:30 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a substance abuse or the charity of one's choice.
