David Joseph Laemmle Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Sr. & Anna Mae Laemmle; siblings, Daniel Laemmle & Diane Joiner.

David served his country in the United States Armed Forces and was a proud Army Veteran. He was a longtime member of St. Luke Catholic Church. David was a member of the Knights of Columbus Pope St. John XXIII Council 5634, where he was a past Grand Knight. He was also a member of the Monsignor Bouchet Assembly of the 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus.

Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Mary Laemmle; daughters, Terri Duvall (Robert) & Nancy Hutchins (Chasity); grandchildren, Patrick Coyne, Alex Duvall, Lauren Coyne & Amanda Duvall; sister, Jane Lutz (Mike); brother-in-laws, William Murphy, Robert Murphy (Charlotte) & Frank Joiner; sister-in-laws, Sheila Laemmle & Gerry Heslin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, February, 12, 2021, from 4-7pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy, & Saturday, February 13, 2021 10am-11am, at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Dr. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11am. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pewee Valley, Kentucky.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed to Mass of the Air or to St. Luke Catholic Church.
