Clifford “Cliff” Roy Buechel III, 60, passed away on Thursday July 25, 2019.
Cliff was born on December 19, 1958 in Louisville and raised by his late parents, Golden P. Fox Jr. and Mary Doerr Fox. He graduated from Trinity High School; where he played baseball. Cliff continued his love of baseball while at Murray State University; while also receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He went on to work for the Louisville Water Company, where he retired as the Manager of Distribution Operations. Cliff was a very accomplished man and he will be remembered by many. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather; who was loved and respected by many.
Here to carry on his memory are his wife of 37 years, Cathy Buechel; children, Joshua Buechel (Kim) and Katie Likens (Terry); grandchildren, Jonah and Myles Buechel and Sophia, Hunter and Mason Likens; his sisters, Elizabeth Bustanoby (Pete) and Beverly Osborn (Stan); along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 12-7pm on Monday, July 29th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A memorial service celebrating Cliff’s life will take place at 7pm on Monday.
