Christopher Herrick

Chris is survived by his parents; his wife, Cassandra Herrick (née Jetter); his son, Holden Christopher Herrick; his grandmother, Linda Herrick, and his brother, Brian Adam Herrick.

Chris was born in Louisville, KY on January 2nd, 1989 to Brian and Kathy Herrick. He graduated from Purdue University with honors and distinction in 2020 with a degree in electrical engineering technology and worked as an electrical controls engineer for Samtec, Inc. In July of 2018, he married Cassie, a Galen graduate nurse and his very first love. On October 23rd, 2021 respectively, he welcomed his beautiful son, who was the most important part of his life.

Chris was a devoted father and enjoyed playing music. He loved to work on as many projects as he could at one time. He was often in over his head on projects for school, work, and at home—but you could tell he loved it that way. He was a dedicated problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and around the house. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 5 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 8912 Loch Lea Lane, Louisville, KY 40291.
