He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Suzanne Wright Bova; grandfather, Carl R. Cox. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rodney and Teresa Bova Cox; siblings, Whitney Cox and Brandon Cox; niece, Taylor Woods whom he adored dearly, all of Goshen, KY; grandparents, Shirley and Wayne Caro of Louisville and Fred Bova of Crestwood; Aunts and Uncles, Pam and Mike Fletcher and Kristine Rick of Louisville, Rick Bova of Wisconsin, Danny and Rhonda Bova of Mt. Washington, Melissa and Mike St. Pierre of Noblesville, IN; cousins, Tony and Elizabeth Bova, Scotty and Cody Rick, Elyse Harrington, Celeste Burns, Pamela Arthur, Zack and Aly St. Pierre and to many friends to list.
He was a chef at Wolfgang Puck's Express.
Chad loved his family, friends and would do anything for them. He truely had a heart of gold. He loved sports, hunting and fishing, four wheeling and just having fun. We will all carry him in our hearts for eternity.
A Celebration of Chad's life will be conducted at Noon Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Village. Burial with dignity will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. - 12Noon on Wednesday.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Kosair Charities.
