Charles Edward Schneider, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born in Zion Station, Kentucky on November 5, 1935 to the late Charles and Mary Schneider. He retired from Olde Towne Grocery. Charles enjoyed family vacations, attending all of the grandchildren’s events and UK. Most of all Charles loved his family and spending time with them.
Besides his parents, his wife, Joann Schneider; daughter, Christy Schneider; and grandson, Adam Laughead preceded Charles in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Terry Laughead and Beth Lesak; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley (Kyle), Shelby (Seth), Kinsey, and Logan; great grandchildren, Riley, Noah, Joslyn, Parker, Charlie, and a host of other loving family members and friends and his cat, Calico.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be Monday, September 30, 2024 from 1pm until 7pm with a Memorial Service at 3pm. Inurnment will be private in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
