Charlene Theresa Mills Woodward

Charlene, as everyone called her, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend, who will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.

Charlene was a member of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church of Maryville, TN. She had a great love for her family and the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in passing by her father, Floyd Mills, and mother, Katrina Berdia Mills of Chattanooga, TN, and mother-in-law, Ruth C. Woodward of Florence, KY.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband and soul mate of 66 years, Jack K. Woodward of Louisville, KY; daughters, Sharon K. Woodward of Louisville, KY, Jackie L. Woodward Bivens (James) of Friendsville, TN; sons, Richard Woodward and Scott M. Woodward of Louisville, KY; dear friend, Scott Pullem of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jordan L. Bivens Grubb (Ryan) of Friendsville, TN, Jessica Woodward Byerly (Andrew) of Louisville, KY, Joshua Koch of Louisville, KY, Lyndsey Woodward of Louisville, KY, and Julianne Bivens of Friendsville, TN

A visitation will be held in Louisville, on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4-8 PM at the Arch L. Heady at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Family and Friends will assemble in Maryville, TN at Smith Funeral Home, on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 12-1 PM with a graveside service immediately following at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, in the chapel. Dr. Mark A. Grubb will be officiating.

Memorial donations can be made in Charlene's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
