Carol Ballinger-Fitzgerald, 47, of Louisville went to be with her son Cory Ward on Friday May 21, 2010. She was the former Carol Lynn Zimmerman and a member of Southeast Christian Church. She is survived by her husband Dwayne Fitzgerald; daughters, Sarah, Kimberly, and Stephanie Ballinger; grandchildren, Noah, Abby, Aubree, Makenna, Kaylee and Kori Reese; and step children, Kayla, Cody, and Cheyenne Fitzgerald. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the family c/o of the funeral home.
