Carol J. Carrico, 80, of Louisville, passed away with family by her side on the morning of September 29, 2015 at Baptist Health Care. She was the former Carol Neininger and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Carol was a homemaker who was a great cook and loved spending time in her garden. Playing games and cards with her children and grandchildren along with her passion for working crossword puzzles was a pastime she loved. She and her late husband Tom loved traveling and going to his Navy re-unions all over the United States through the years.
Predeceasing Carol were her parents, Arthur and Clementine Neininger; her siblings, Jean Lewis and her husband Mort, LaVerne Devine, and brothers, Thomas and Jack Neininger.
Left cherishing her memory are her children, Tina Meredith, Cathy Carrico, Thomas Carrico Jr. and Timothy (Cindy) Carrico; grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin, Sean and Kristin Meredith, Tyler and Caitlin Doerhoefer and Benjamin Carrico, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road on Sunday, October 4th from 2-8 p.m.
