He was met at the gates of heaven by his parents, Arvin Hulett and Alberta Risen; brother, Hulett ”Bud” Elbert.
Wayne leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon Risen; children, Jerry Risen, Mary Ann Thompson; grandchildren, Stephanie Thompson, Trevor Thompson; nephew, Scott Risen, mother-in-law, Wanda Bader, and many loving nieces, nephews, family, and good friends.
A funeral service for Wayne will be held on Wednesday at 12:00pm at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Garden’s West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers the family would like all donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
