Brenda Deanna Fontana

Brenda was an artist, she was a student of art (School of Mary Louise Schrodt) and for many years taught painting classes at the Okolona Women’s Club. She was an avid sports enthusiast, she loved basketball, softball, and tennis. She played tennis until she was 68 years old. She passed her love of art and tennis to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, George Hobert Holder and Flora Pearl (Cochran) Holder; her loving husband of 54 years, Gerald L. Fontana; her brother, Brent Holder and sister, Barbara (Holder) Browning.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dennis Evan Fontana, Bonnie Marie (Fontana) Miller (Barry), Stephen Troy Fontana (Pamela), Dana Lee (Fontana) Reyna (Victor); 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Donnie Ellis; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Arch L Heady & Sons Funeral Home - Okolona. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 10:30am at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Resthaven Memorial Park.
