She was born in Campbellsville, KY on May 2, 1920 to Claudius and Annie Tandy Wilson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William R. Monroe; two sisters, two brothers, and by a step-son, Rudolph Monroe. Bonnie was a housewife, mother, grandmother and loved by so many.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sue Milby (Nik), her son, Ron Monroe (Betty), three step-daughters, Norma Davis (Jim), Nancy Dearmon (Roy) and Jean Holbert; also by four grandsons and numerous loving family members. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Her funeral service will be held in the chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM Saturday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
