Bobbie Lee Thomasson, age 84, went home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born in Dixie, Georgia to Lucy and Walter Wade. Bobbie retired as Unit Secretary at Our Lady of Peace after 25 plus years of service. She was a long-time active member of Minors Lane Baptist Church, enjoyed arts and crafts, square dancing, and traveling. Bobbie loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Tommy and Louis Wade.
Left to cherish Bobbie's memory is her loving husband of 70 years, JW Thomasson; children, Robert Thomasson (Linn), Cheryl Evans (Tom), Dennis Thomasson (Vicki); 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Visitation for Bobbie will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 9:00am to 12pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
Memorial donations in Bobbie's honor should be directed to Alzheimer's Association, Hosparus, or Minors Lane Baptist Church.
