78, entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2015, with family by his side. Billy Ray was born January 13, 1937 in Louisville, KY to S.J. and Loretta Riley. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairfield, CA., he was also the 25th Master of the Masonic Lodge #942 of Fairdale, KY. Billy Ray retired from Chevron after 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Milburn, Alex, Buford and Raymond; and sister, Shirley Riley.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia Mason Riley; sisters, Joy Shadburne and Vivian Just (Herb); brother, Harry Riley (Betty); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm-8pm with a Masonic service at 7pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Billy Ray can be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital. Envelopes can be received at the funeral home.
