He was born September 21, 1929 in Louisville, the son of Merritt and Zelda Duncan Montgomery, who preceded him in death.
Billy retired from Levys Lumber and Building Center, where he was Retail Manager. He also served as an Elder with the Prospect Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley Montgomery; two daughters, Gerry Murray and husband Russell and Debbie Ernst and husband Richard; one son, Danny Montgomery and wife Lisa; one brother, Merritt Hughes Montgomery; Eight Grandchildren; Six Great-Grandchildren
Private Services have been entrusted to Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
