Betty Jo Stamper, 67, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Audubon Hospital. She was born December 15, 1947 in Miamisburg OH to the late Lige and Lucy Lynch Stamper. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at Nolin Lake, loved baseball, bowling, playing dice and Friday night Game Nights. Betty was a true animal and music lover, but most of all she loved life. She was a wonderful mother and friend to many.
Left to cherish Betty’s memory is her son and daughter -in -law, Danny and Michelle Dennison Stamper, a brother, Dale Stamper (Cindy), siblings; Geraldine Poe (Tom) and Pauline Marsh (Norman), sister –in- law, Hazel Stamper, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers; Kelly, James, Carl and Daniel.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10 am in Arch L Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
