Beth Ann Mann

She joins her parents, Norman Frank Thompson & Mary Louella Knapp, brother Tim and sister Donna in heaven.

Beth Ann was born in LaPorte Indiana on December 18, 1954. She graduated from Wheeling HS in 1972 in Chicago, IL. Beth continued her education at Indiana State University studying Early Childhood Education and completed her Master's Degree at Indiana Wesylian.

Beth taught pre-k at MiniSkool and KinderCare for several years. She joined Jefferson County Public Schools and continued teaching Pre-K students until retirement in 2018. Beth was a National Education Association representative at the NEA national conference in Boston. She was an active BSA Cubscout leader in Pack 40/Troop 40 parent, Cherokee district. Beth taught crafts at summer camps, and was a District camp inspector. She loved teaching, and was devoted to her grandchildren Susie and Brenda.

She and her husband enjoyed time with friends, traveling, photography and crossword puzzles.

Here to cherish her memory is her husband Nathan Mann, Sr., sons Nathan Mann, Jr. (Susan Rehm) and Marc Mann, grandchildren, Susie and Brenda, and sister, Susan Thompson.

A visitation for Beth will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Beth will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
