She was retired from Stockyards Bank and was a member of Watkins United Methodist Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand A. Stark.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Rosemary Terstegge (Paul); 3 grandchildren, Thomas Speaker (Tracy Canada), Karen Albers (Rick), Nancy Speaker; 3 great-grandchildren, Austin Speaker of Dallas, Jessica Howard (Brad) of Hindsville, Arkansas and Savannah Speaker; 1 great-great-grandchild, Breeanna Howard; sister, Ruth Thompson.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Belmont Village for the excellent care provided Barbara.
A service to celebrate the life of Barbara will be conducted on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. also on Friday. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Crusade for Children, Alzheimers Association, Kosair Charities, or Donors Favorite Charity.
