Alice Wilson, 97, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018.
She worked as a church secretary for 18 years, most of which was for the old Oakdale United Methodist Church and she was a member of the Our Night Out “ONO” Club.
Home for her and her family was wherever in the world her soldier husband was stationed at the time, including Italy and Germany.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband Pearl Wilson and a son, Gordon Wilson. Survivors include daughters Barbara Floyd and Deborah Denton; a son, Kenneth Wilson; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday.
