She was born October 12, 1941 in Louisville, the daughter of George Edward Wisdom and Katherine Stoess Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jo Ann Cissell, a half-sister, Jan; two brothers, Charles “Dotty” and Leonard Lee Wisdom; and two half-brothers, Clifford and Kenny.
Alice was a loving wife and mother who worked as a Custodian at North Bullitt High School for many years and was also a homemaker and a Kentucky Colonel.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Walter Meredith; her children, Kathy Roth (Danny), Patsy Brown (Charlie), Kerry Meredith (Judy), Crystal Unthank (Greg) and Alice Keister; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Mickie, Sue and Diane; and half-brothers, Jerry, Marlin and Billy.
A service to celebrate Alice’s life will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
