Though my time with Victor was brief, it was very clear after only a few moments that he was a caring and compassionate man. Walking (fashionably) through the streets of his community, Victor was stopped and greeted by many. He had a helping hand in many lives. He was loved by his family and an inspiration to the younger generations.  He will be missed but will be remembered in the fondest memories of our hearts.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Victor at Whittier Mimi's Cafe from 2008-2014. We were co-managers at that location. Victor was caring person. When we would work together he would make sure that I was doing o.k.especially  when managing teammates and also dealing with Guest issues.  When I was stress he knew how to make things better. If I had problem he would be the person I would go to , to get advice. When I needed to be with my daughter he would cover for me and make sure that I took  care of my family. 
He also took care of the employees at Mimis Cafe. When they needed days off he would grant the day off for them. When the Back of House  had issue he would speak on their  behalf of the spanish speaking employees so their voice can be heard. 
  When Victor walked into a room his energy would lift up everyone' spirit. He had sense of make people  feel good.  I can image his smile right now.  Every employee would be delighted when Victor worked. He  would make the mood shift and we knew were going to have a good day. 
After Victor left Mimi's Cafe it was never the same.  Now hearing that he has passed. I will always know know that I have a angel up and heaven.  Take Care my Friend!!!

my dear friend you will be missed dearly.. i can't believe you are gone..  i will forever miss that smile you  greeted me with almost everyday when I would get home from work. You always In courage me and ask how I was feeling you always gave and ask for nothing in return.  I cant help to feel emotional every time I remember you are gone..  rest in peace my friend you will always be in my heart.

Víctor tenía mucha ilusión de volver a saber de ti por medio del grupo deReencuentro  de la Preparatoria cuando nos llegó la terrible noticia de tu partida. Fuiste un amigo inigualable para mi desde la secundaria y compartimos muchos momentos en la prepa! Descansa en paz en el paraíso del Señor amigo!

Bueno el decir algo de mi hermano Víctor es hablar de una persona alegre, risueña pero sobre todo la persona más caritativa que pude conocer, le daba a la gente lo que él salía a vender por que decía que no podría pagarlo y lo necesitaban y también tenía un carácter inquebrantable además de ser un buen emprendedor y así quiero recordarlo.
Pero sobre todo era Victor nunca dejó de pensar en nosotros sus hermanos apesar  de la lejanía siempre estaba al pendiente de todos y por todo eso lo voy a extrañar por siempre. 
Solo deseo que este junto con mis padres descansando en paz. 

I had the honor of meeting Victor on a couple of occasions while his nephew Ramiro was visiting in the states.  Victor was a kind person.  I remember he always had a smile on his face when he welcomed his nephew.    Rest In Peace!

It was a beautiful honor to have met Victor Hernandez and have him in my & my family’s life. From the moment he became my daughter Kiara’s godfather, to the moments he brought light and laughter into our home, the Landeros household would not have been the same without him.

Victor was a great brother and many times he was like a son to me. When he moved from Mexico and came to live with my family in California we became one big family. I still remember how he would always tell me to serve dinner family style. Just put it all on the table and let everyone serve themselves. We would laugh and joke while we ate, I still carry many found memories and will always hold them dear to my heart. He was happy, positive and a great person. He was always there for me and I tried to be there for him just as much. He was loving, caring and smart and it's a great loss for everyone to see him part this world. I will always miss him and will continue to pray for him. He is in a better place and I hope he is now reunited with our parents and happy. I will always love you brother. 

 I'll always be thankful and proud of having you as my uncle. You truly were a light in my world and I'll now count you as one of the brightest stars in my sky. Thank you! I'll miss you!! I'll see you again one day!

Victor, Mi Amigo de la infancia!  tengo tantos recuerdos! Que triste y dificil saber que ya no estas. Te llevo en mi corazon, hoy y siempre. 

Uncle Victor, I had the joy of counting on you at all stages of life, although at a distance always with good advice and support, spreading joy and positivity, God bless you, I will never forget you !! 

I have great memories of my uncle. He was a great person with a free spirit 
I will never forget how he lights up a room when he walks in. He was a very positive man; as well as very talented in many ways. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. I will miss him very much! ❤️

Victor was a loving husband and the most beautiful wonderful blessed angel husband I well miss him very much .  He was kind caring patient and loving man. We had lots of good times with each other and he well always be in my heart  He is now an angel in heaven watching over us
